Per-storm clearing or a season plan?
Per-storm clearing is a good fit if you get only a few real snowfalls a year, or you usually shovel yourself and just want help when a big one comes through. You request a visit when you need it.
A Snow Season Plan puts your home on a local route from December through March. You pay upfront, 10 pushes are included, and your pro comes out when snowfall reaches your plan's trigger depth, so you don't have to call each time. Light winter? For each push under 4, you get service credit toward another Thoro Clean service. It's the easier choice if you leave early for work, travel in the winter or simply don't want to think about it. Either way, ice melt can be added for an extra charge.
How often will we come out?
That depends on your weather and your plan. With per-storm clearing, it's once for each visit you request. With a Snow Season Plan, your pro clears after each snowfall that meets your plan's trigger depth, and 10 pushes are included. Pushes after that are billed per push, and a storm over 12 inches counts as one extra push. Your plan details explain how this works. Ice melt is usually applied after clearing, and again when melting and refreezing make paths slick.

- Mark the edges of your driveway and walkways before the first snowfall (stakes or reflectors work well).
- Point out anything hidden under snow: low walls, landscape lighting, curbs, sprinkler heads or garden beds.
- Move cars into the garage or to one side of the driveway when you can, so more of it can be cleared.
- Tell us about pets, gates and which paths matter most, such as the walk to the mailbox or trash area.
- Let us know if you'd like ice melt and whether any surfaces, plants or pets need a gentler product.

Do I have to call every time it snows?
Not with a Snow Season Plan. Your pro comes out when snowfall reaches your plan's trigger depth, so you don't have to call. With per-storm clearing, you request a visit when you need one.
Do I need to be home?
No. As long as your pro can reach the driveway and walkways, you don't need to be there. You'll get a text with photos when your property is clear.
Will clearing damage my driveway, lawn or landscaping?
Marking your driveway edges and pointing out hidden features before the season helps your pro avoid them. If something isn't right after a visit, tell us within seven days and we'll make it right.
Can you clear around parked cars?
Yes, your pro clears around cars that stay in the driveway. Moving cars when you can lets more of the driveway get cleared.
Is ice melt included?
Ice melt is extra and applied where it's booked. Add it to your quote for walkways, steps and entry paths, and let us know about pets or surfaces that need a gentler product.
How do I get a price?
Snow Season Plans start from $575 plus tax, based on driveway size. Request a free quote online with what you need cleared and whether you want per-storm or a season plan. We confirm your exact price before anything is scheduled.
What if it's a light winter?
For each push under 4 in the season, you get service credit toward another Thoro Clean service, such as spring washing or gutters. It's a credit, not cash. Your plan details show the amount for your driveway size.
What if I need more than 10 pushes?
Extra pushes are billed per push at your plan's rate. A storm over 12 inches counts as one extra push.
Is there a credit if my neighbor signs up too?
Yes. When a neighbor on your street signs up for a plan, you both get a service credit toward another Thoro Clean service. One credit per plan.
