What’s included

Done properly.

A well-lit entrance tells residents, tenants and customers that the property is cared for. Getting there means ladders, lifts, extension cords and someone willing to take it all down again in January. Thoro Clean schedules a vetted, insured local partner to design, install and take down holiday lighting for entrances, clubhouses, storefronts and trees, all on one contract, so your team doesn't spend the season on a ladder.

  1. Design for entrances, buildings and trees
  2. Professional installation
  3. Take-down after the season
Also available
  • Entrance and monument lighting
  • Building and roofline lighting
  • Tree and landscape lighting
  • Install and take-down

How a commercial lighting project comes together

It starts with design. Your local partner looks at the property, often from photos first, and suggests where light will have the most effect: the main entrance, the monument sign, the clubhouse roofline, the trees people see from the road. You can keep it simple and classic or plan a fuller display, and the design is sized to what you want to spend.

We'll confirm your install date once your local crew is scheduled. Lights are fastened with clips and mounts made for the job rather than nails or staples, and connected to timers so they come on and off on their own. Through the season, if a section goes dark, tell us and we'll arrange a visit to fix it. After the holidays, the crew takes everything down and the property looks just as it did before. Ask about storing the lights until next year.

Timing

When should you book holiday lighting?

Earlier is better. Many commercial properties book in late summer or early fall and have lights installed in October or November, then switched on around the start of the season. Install calendars fill up as the holidays get closer, so booking early gives you the best choice of dates. Take-down usually happens in January. If you want the same display every year, we can set it up as a recurring service so the design, dates and contract carry over without starting from scratch.

04

Photos and a record of every visit

You see the finished display, and our 7-Day Service Guarantee backs the install.

Before the first visit

A little prep.

  • Share photos of the areas you'd like lit, or walk the property with the partner.
  • Confirm where outdoor power outlets are and whether they're on a working circuit.
  • Let us know about rules from your board, landlord or property manager on decorations.
  • Arrange access to roofs, rooflines or locked areas, and any after-hours entry.
  • Name a site contact for the install day.

Washing the building and windows before the lights go up makes the display look its best.

Questions

Good to know.

What kinds of properties do you light?

HOA entrances and clubhouses, condo and apartment buildings, office buildings, retail storefronts, plazas, churches and any commercial property that wants to look festive for the season.

Do we have to buy the lights?

Ask when you request your quote. Many partners include the lights as part of the service, and some can work with lights you already own.

What happens if lights stop working during the season?

Tell us and we'll arrange a visit to fix it. Your quote confirms how service calls are handled for your display.

Will installation damage the building?

The crew uses clips and mounts made for holiday lighting instead of nails or staples, so the building looks the same after take-down.

When will the lights come down?

Take-down is usually scheduled in January. You pick the date when you book.

How do I get a price?

Request a quote online with photos of what you'd like lit. We confirm your exact price and design before anything is scheduled.
